The Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS) Planetarium at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), has been dedicated to development and dissemination of planetarium programming where students and planetarium visitors are actively involved.
Planetarium activities from a project called Planetarium Activities for Successful Shows (PASS, or originally Planetarium Activities for Student Success) may be found on three websites:
International Planetarium Society (IPS) PASS page
Global Systems Science (GSS) PASS page
Lawrence Hall of Science PASS website
On the first two sites, you will also find links to needed multimedia for sample activities as well as the Planetarium Educators Workshop Guide that describes how to run staff professional development workshops on audience participation. Such workshops can last anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days to 3 weeks.
