Planetarium Activity Strategies

The Planetarium at Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley, has been dedicated to development and dissemination of planetarium programming where students and planetarium visitors are actively involved.  The websites below all have sample scripts to help planetarium educators teach about Moons and phases, exoplanets, and more using time-tested, hands-on activities to engage any learner. On the IPS PASS page and the GSS PASS page, you will also find links to needed multimedia for sample activities as well as the Planetarium Educators Workshop Guide that describes how to run staff professional development workshops on audience participation. Workshops can last anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days to 3 weeks.
